Speeding Galaxy S II Plus with 1.5 GHz processor?
Samsung is already confirmed that they have no plans to launch the Galaxy S III in the event Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 held in Barcelona, Spain. It was a little disappointing, but to treat it, the South Korean vendors reportedly are preparing a new device to be introduced at the show. That said, it is a Samsung Galaxy S II Plus.
We do not yet know much about this device, but based on data from An3DBenchXL, the latest Samsung devices will run on Android 2.3.4, WVGA display, and dual core processor 1.5 GHz CPU.
Previous Galaxy S II features a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, while the Sprint Galaxy Nexus is equipped with a dual core 1.5 GHz CPU, so the processor Galaxy S II Plus is expected to be the same.
We're still not sure which processor manufacturer Samsung will be selected, but we believe that Samsung will use the processor Exynos.
In addition, this device will offer the TouchWiz UI running on top of Android 4.0, which you will not find in the Galaxy Nexus that Google does not permit.
